Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Offer direct assistance to clients with daily personal tasks, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with their mobility needs, aiding in transfers and ambulation.
- Facilitate engagement in activities that enhance physical and emotional well-being.
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met, and provide help with eating when required.
- Perform household chores to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Provide companionship, fostering a positive and supportive relationship with clients.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings, ensuring their safety and well-being outside the home.
- Monitor client health and report any concerns or changes to the supervisory team.
- Adhere strictly to all healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in direct care or a related field is preferred.
- Required certifications in CPR and First Aid (available through company training if not already certified).
- Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
