Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with everyday activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide reminders and assistance with medication.
• Prepare healthy meals and assist with feeding, if necessary.
• Conduct light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dusting, dishwashing, and vacuuming.
• Engage clients in conversation, recreational activities, and provide companionship.
• Escort clients to appointments and outings.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s health, behavior, or surroundings to the supervisory nurse or manager.
• Adhere to all state laws and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in caregiving is advantageous but not mandatory.
• CPR and First Aid certification (training provided upon hiring if needed).
• A caring nature and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and aid clients with mobility.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transport.
• Successful background check and drug screening.
