Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with everyday activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide reminders and assistance with medication.
- Prepare healthy meals and assist with feeding, if necessary.
- Conduct light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dusting, dishwashing, and vacuuming.
- Engage clients in conversation, recreational activities, and provide companionship.
- Escort clients to appointments and outings.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client’s health, behavior, or surroundings to the supervisory nurse or manager.
- Adhere to all state laws and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in caregiving is advantageous but not mandatory.
- CPR and First Aid certification (training provided upon hiring if needed).
- A caring nature and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and aid clients with mobility.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transport.
- Successful background check and drug screening.
