Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care to clients, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Offer timely medication reminders and assistance.
- Prepare nutritious meals, assisting with feeding when necessary.
- Conduct light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dusting, and vacuuming.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and recreational activities, enhancing their quality of life.
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings, providing support and companionship.
- Monitor and report any significant changes in clients’ health or behavior to the supervisory nurse or manager.
- Adhere strictly to all state regulations and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in caregiving is preferred.
- Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification (provided after hiring, if needed).
- A patient and caring personality, coupled with excellent communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client mobility.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
- Successful completion of background checks and drug screening.
