Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Offer direct assistance to clients with daily personal tasks, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients with their mobility needs, aiding in transfers and ambulation.
• Facilitate engagement in activities that enhance physical and emotional well-being.
• Assist in meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met, and provide help with eating when required.
• Perform household chores to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Provide companionship, fostering a positive and supportive relationship with clients.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings, ensuring their safety and well-being outside the home.
• Monitor client health and report any concerns or changes to the supervisory team.
• Adhere strictly to all healthcare regulations and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in direct care or a related field is preferred.
• Required certifications in CPR and First Aid (available through company training if not already certified).
• Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
