All American Home Care uses a rigorous screening process and ongoing training to ensure that our caregivers are as qualified, skilled and capable as we expect them to be. Below is a description of our various care team members and their roles within our organization.

Director of Nursing

Director of Nursing

The Director of Nursing is a registered nurse that supervises the care of all of our patients at All American Home Care. The Director of Nursing is licensed and has additional specialized training that goes beyond that of a staff nurse in the areas of healthcare management, policy and procedure, human resources, and staffing. They oversee the hiring and training of the nursing staff, and are responsible for ensuring that the health needs of each patient are being met.

Medical Director

Medical Director

The Medical Director is a licensed and board-certified physician that attends team meetings and assists with the managerial duties of the medical staff. The Medical Director also ensures that the home health care plans of each patient are being met according to their and their family's wishes, in conjunction with their physician's orders. The Medical Director of All American Home Care can consult with your physician regarding medical issues and oversee the implementation of their advice.

Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse

A registered nurse, or RN for short, is a nurse that has graduated from a nursing program, obtained their degree, and been licensed by the State Board of Nursing of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Our registered nurses are compassionate professionals that assess the physical needs of each patient, manage the symptoms of pain and illness, and provide instruction on specific care issues. RNs are usually the liaison between the physician, family, and other All American Home Care team members.

Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist

A physical therapist is a specially licensed and trained medical professional that holds a doctorate or master's degree in physical therapy. Our expert physical therapists address bodily injuries and limitations that may impede a patient's ability to move and perform functional activities on a day-to-day basis, with the goal of restoring and maintaining mobility whenever possible. Our physical therapists have a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and focus on the rehabilitation of our valued patients.

Speech Therapist

: Contrary to popular belief, speech therapy aids much more than just stutters and enunciation problems. Speech therapists, also known as speech-language pathologists, are trained to evaluate, diagnose, and treat voice difficulties, swallowing disorders, social communication issues, and cognitive impairments that affect the ability to communicate. These issues can arise from a variety of illnesses or injuries. The speech therapists at All American Home Care are caring, patient individuals that assist in all manner of cognitive-communication conditions.

Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist

An occupational therapist is a medical professional that helps patients overcome the limitations in their day-to-day tasks, including self-maintenance, leisure, and productivity. Occupational therapy covers a vast array of roles and routines, with the ultimate goal of restoring the opportunity for patients to be independent. Our fully licensed and kindhearted occupational therapists assist patients with work-related injuries, long-term illnesses, chronic pain, memory loss, and much more.

Home Health Aide

Home Health Aide

The home health aides at All American Home Care are certified caregivers that provide personal care for patients, which includes bathing, dressing, and shaving; providing mouth, skin, hair, and nail care; helping with ambulation, positioning and transfer; and more. Home health aides prepare meals, assist with feeding, administer medications, and maintain a clean, safe area for each patient. Our home health aides are the heartbeat of All American Home Care, with a lot of diversity in personalities, experience, and skills. We work hard to ensure that our caregivers match our patients' individual preferences and needs.
